Is this possible? It would be a step up for him and if Iowa is his dream job then this could be his next step in acquiring this job. Mccaffey isn't a young coach so maybe this could be possible. It would also add a good recruiter to our staff. What are your thoughts on this?

Well, as it stands now, Fran is going to bring Mitch Buonaguro with him

The guy is 2x as old as me. He has not had a top recruit sign since the year DuranDuran released "Rio". While the guy has a wealth of coaching experience, as an assistant, I am still not going to be sold for a while.

Good news, though, we might get an influx of low-mid tier East Coast guys. Maybe they will be better than the low-mid tier Midwestern guys we are getting.

I will at least start attending games again. Anybody other than Lickliter is a step in the right direction.

He graduated from undergrad in 1975. So, I am guessing him to be nearer 60 than 50.

Forbes will not be a part of this staff...as of this morning anyway . anything can happen. I really do doubt it though.

I hope he gets an interveiw at Depaul. I'm not sure he would take it if offered. I was told that he plans on staying where he is..again as of this morning

Hey I wanted the HP job really bad at Interlachen too, but didn't get an interview.

But you're right, I would have been behind that hire 100%. But now I'm behind this one.

You want to be associate head coach to the guy who just got the job you coveted? And the guy who got that job wants to put you on staff?

I'm having a hard time seeing "yes" as the answer to either of those questions.

I don't think the money is there even if there is interest, which I doubt. I am sure Forbes is looking for the 1st Head Coach gig
