If all of the current recruits firm up their LOI's and "reverbal," is there any reason to keep Walthall?

I am interested to hear other's opinions, because two weeks ago, the consensus was that he needed to be retained to keep the recruits, but no one suggested what happens if they are willing to stay without him.

I'm thinking Chad probably follows Lick. Isnt that how he arrived here?

Yes, he left his big time job at Loras College in Dubuque and joined Lick's staff. Walthall will be gone there is no question about it. Fran will be bringing in an entire new staff.

IMO, you have to let the new coach pick his assistants and adjust the roster to his needs. He may want to clean house as far as players go or he may want to keep everyone.

This is a big rebuilding job. The good thing in basketball is the opportunity is there to make changes quickly. Nothing against Chad Walthall,the current players or the new recruits but McCaffery may want to make some changes.
