Aidan O'Connell was lights out. It will probably be his best game in his career. Throwing sharp passes on point perfectly timed with Bell and others coming out of their cuts. He hit 75% of his passes and probably 90% that weren't throw-aways. Reminds me of the first game I saw Mertz (Wisconsin) vs Illinois and thought this guy is lights out, of course, he was just on for a game.
Hats off to O'Connell he was the reason we lost, looked like an NFL passer in this game, he never panicked under pressure and never put Purdue behind the chains. Wish we had a QB that could look that great.
