Willies should be playing NOW! I would have to think he is one who may leave after this year from what i have seen. This kid is 6'4" and can actually catch the ball! We have weapons on offense, but refuse to use them. It makes no sense to me, unless there are other issues behind the scenes that we don't know about. Smith and Willies should be the 2 starting WR's from what i have seen. And that is with about 3 catches by Willies! If you think martin-manley,vandenburg,hillyer are better receivers , i have some oceanfront property in Arizona.

I'm with you for the most part. Only thing I slightly disagree with you on is Hillyer. I don't think he's better then Willies or Smith in the passing game don't get me wrong. But I think he's the best blocker at WR they have. And to be a WR at Iowa you have to be good at that. And I think if he was used more in the red zone with his big body he can be a weapon. Now he has dropped too many for my liking but I think with the sporadic playing time and chances he and the others get the drops are just magnified that much more.

But I'm with you as far as I've seen about enough of Vandeberg and KMM.... Why can't Powell get those slot reps? Way more explosive ability.
