ARob Status?

I say to ARob don't let the door hit you on the *** on the way out. He had his chance(s) he decided he didn't give a rip about the team. I could give to squirts about what he does in the off-season but he let his team down and his family down. While he might get eligibility back somewhere his reputation is certainly now tainted...especially when he goes to get a job and can google his arrest for drug use because he isn't good enough to play in the NFL.

Arob's status?

well, considering it's less than two hours till new years, I'm guessing he's getting ready to ring in the new year with some kind buds, a few ladies that know how to turn a trick or two, and a stack of offers from D1-AA schools that are interested in a slightly buzzed tandem backfield of robinson and hampton

Let me ask that question again.HAS ANYONE BEEN CONVICTED OR BEEN PROVEN GUILTY YOU F/////ING MORON?

I agree guily or not, Arob clearly has no respect for the talent he has and for honor and privilege to have full ride to the U of I. If he did, given the whole DJK ordeal and given fact he was already suspended, Arob would of never been in that car! If he wants to live the Bones, Thugs and Harmony life, go do it somewhere else! Arob disrespected his coaches, teammates, his family and more importantly, himself.

If he comes back and shows some maturity and some actual leadership then great, but something tells me he, just like Wegher and Hampton, he will be submitting his papers to Fred Mims very soon.

was he going to be back anyway - aside from the latest mary charge? i thought he was already gone. anecdotal reports of him not going to class, Ferentz saying he was out due to academics (bowl game). i don't see it.

That's a good question. I don't think he was going to be around because of the academic side, regardless.

That being said, I think if he gets his grades together and submits to the obvious random drug tests, he will get a second chance. If you think about the charges, only the timing is making it that bad - when comparing it to a DUI. Possession of the green and being a little squinty eyed, pales in comparison to driving hammered. And it's not even close, both behaviorally and legally. And rationally, for that matter...

Now the timing couldn't have been worse. Or could it??? Other than cursing a lot, Ferentz has not even had the time to think about a new policy, and won't until after recruiting. ARob may be lucky, and penalized by the team under the old rules, whatever that may be, because the new rules will be a lot more strict.... Is this a death penalty error in judgement by ARob? Definitely not under the old rules...
It will depend on that and what the circumstances to his suspensions have been. Is this a first, second or third strike?

First and foremost, he will live it up with DJK.

Reading a robs facebook statuses, he, DJK and hampton are sure yuking up. I sense no remores by any of them in just what i read. Well hampton has nothing that we know of to be remorseful of, but it is the tone i read that bothers me.
