Arkansas is now 2nd in the SEC West

So Arkansas is now 2nd in the vaunted SEC WEST after destroying LSU. I bet Toledo doesn't want a rematch (or maybe they do). But then again Ole Miss beat Alabama and then lost to the Memphis juggernaut. jk, maybe Memphis is actually good this year but they got destroyed by Navy.

It kills me that alabama is ranked so high based on the completely subjective "eyeball test". They lost at home to a 3 loss Ole miss team who will probably lose to lsu this weekend and have 4 losses.

What eyeball test is there? They lost a game to a bad team and don't get penalized for it?

Arkansas started a little slow last year but they were pummeling people at the end of the year, not saying they are really pummeling people now. But this also shows the SEC West is not as strong people think

I don't know why the committee feels the need to rank Alabama that high right now. It's supposed to be body of work up until this point. Why don't they just admit what it really is, a prediction of where it will be at the end. I would agree with the rankings then.

9-1 (non top 25 loss at home)
9-1 (top 25 loss)
7-2 (top 25 loss, non top 25 loss)
7-3 (2 top 25 losses, non top 25 loss)
7-3 (top 25 loss, 2 non top 25 losses)
7-3 (top 25 loss, 2 non top 25 losses)
7-3 (2 top 25 losses, 1 non top 25 loss)

10-0
10-0
9-1 (non top 25 loss)
8-2 (2 top 25 losses)
8-2 (2 losses to top 5 teams)
8-2 (2 losses to top 25)
7-3 (2 top 25 losses, 1 non top 25 loss)

The top 7 teams in the B1G are obviously stronger than the top 7 in the SEC. The SEC has 16 losses, with 1/2 of them (8) being to non top 25 teams and 1/2 (8) of them to top 25 quality teams.

The B1G has 10 losses with 8 of those losses being to top 25 teams, but the B1G doesn't sh!t the bed nearly as much VS non top 25 teams, they have only lost 2 games against non top 25 teams.
