I read a lot of posts here saying the pac 10, big 12 etc. play poor defense. I think this is probably true, but wondering if maybe it is more that the big 10 has poor offenses.

Oregon would shred any defense in the Big Ten this year. They are for real. I bet they could drop 35-40 on Iowa easy...imagine how tired our d would be in the 4th.

Neilsen/Tarp healthy might be able to keep them under 50.

The iowa O would have to score on every series running the '04 offense just to be competitive.

I think that game would have been a heck of a lot closer if Foles' receivers didn't drop so many catchable balls. The guy threw for 450 some yards and it could have been 500+ if he would have gotten more help from those guys.
