Are we trending towards the bubble??

Lol, no.

Iowa is 2/3 fringe seed.. That's nowhere near bubble. 20 wins as of now, with several good wins. Iowa is in no matter what.

They're playing for seed, not an invite.

A week off will allow others to fall below us, give our guys a chance to recharge and hopefully get back some momentum.

We will end up a 3 seed. Bad losses happen to every team. We're still a good tema. Our defense lately has been concerning though

My post was in jest. Although they have not looked great the last few games, I laugh at the "sky is falling crowd".

Stanzi's crazed emotional breakdown last night not withstanding, not a single person is saying Iowa is a bubble team, let alone, the "sky is falling". (Even that was nothing more than a bout of temporary insanity.)

Everyone is very disappointed that Iowa, again, with everything there for the taking, stumbles into an inexplicably bad loss. Many of us see it as a common recurrence of Iowa failing to seize an opportunity because they can't take care of their own business. It sucks that a team with #1 seed capability is playing itself into 3 / 4 seed position. Though it isn't as bad, yet, there's fear that, for the 2nd time in 3 seasons, Iowa will fall from great heights and, whether it's from 1 to 4 or from 3 to play-in, the outcome could be exactly the same - 1 and done.

We're all expressing across the whole spectrum of perspectives and with varying degrees of emotion and crticism. Your accusation is stupid and inflammatory because no one is near that, yet.

Huh? I had a few complaints here in there in the heat of the moment as the game went along, but it hardly reached breakdown levels. Not once did I say we are a bubble team or that the sky is falling. I still have a lot of confidence in this team to right the ship and finish strong.

Then you are either bipolar, suffering from amnesia, or your account got hacked, cause dude, you were off the rails negative on every post last night.

I know; that's what I told smb but the dude didn't see through it. He's throwin' around crazy accusations and making outlandish jokes that Iowa is a bubble team ... Some people just can't help but stir up drama.

That simply isn't true. It was a frustrating game for sure, but my posts were no more than basic venting. That game is behind us now and all I see is next week and getting back on track.

dude I suggest you go back and reread, you were pathetic

I'm a passionate fan and it was a frustrating game. People vent all the time. I'm not going to apologize for things I said in the heat of the moment. What is important is what I say today. Last night is irrelevant now.

Great point Stanzi, I was right there w/ya last night. ..today is a new day and a new 30 pack, rock on....

Stanzi-
Conference championship - gone. Any hope of a deep run in the NCAA tournament - gone. Recruiting in the future - extremely damaged. I wish I lived in Vegas so I could put a whole bunch of money down on every opponent we play from here on out. We won't win a single game the rest of the season. I will bet anyone that wants to put money down.

Mr. Stanzi maybe the above will refresh your memory.

Nope, it doesn't. That does look like your standard frustrated fan in game thread post though. Personally, I think we will go 2-2 or 3-1 over these last 4 games, especially with 2 of them at home. Let's focus on the positive and today instead of the past.
