A few things. One, not all opinions are equal. Two, the OP didn't give an opinion, he asked a question. Third, he didn't explain or elucidate his question in any particular way, which made it such a bizarre and confusing question, it is difficult to take seriously.
And fourth, it's not "They're opinion, it's "Their opinion". You clearly didn't mis-type, but rather don't know when to use the proper form of those various homophones. That is what makes me better than all the others.

This question doesn't make any sense. What we have high expectations to be let down. No hawk fans aren't becoming cubs fans, mostly cause we can't complain about horrible FA signings even with a huge payroll.

^ this is coming from someone that routinely bashes the intelligence of others. Which is kinda funny because rarely do I see Ghost add anything to a thread. About all he is good for is a funny picture mocking the intelligence of someone posting or a thread.
But his blog is a good read, I will give him that much.
But no, Hawk fans are not turning into Cub fans.

As a Cubs fan, my expectations have been greatly raised since 2003.
As a Hawkeye fan, my expectations have been greatly raised since 2002.

No, we've had two down years in a row, but our fan base hasn't given in and accepted losing. Read HN every day and you will realize we are a long long ways from being happy losing cub fans....

Don't worry about it, there are a lot of people on here who are just here to be rude, over-critical, one-up you, etc. Best way to deal with it is just not get baited into an argument with them. There are some people on here that are truly here just to talk about the team they like, just ignore the jerks as best as possible. they have small ding a lings and ugly wives, it's hard to have their lives...

I'm not saying Iowa fans are like Cubs fans, but the frustrations on this board don't prove that they aren't.
