stupid ass question - Micah was pissed off - but I think he kept his composure all things considered.

Yeah I'm not sure how a NFL defender would be embarrassed in a game they lost 14-10. If anything I think "pissed that the offense couldn't do more" would be a more logical bet than a defender being embarrassed.

They lost 14-10... They had the ball in the redzone with chance to win at the end. If that's embarrassing for a defense then each and every loss that there's been this yr must be too.

That reporter was just trying to use the most explosive of adjectives because those are what make headlines to click on. Not that they are true or relevant.

Right up there with the Chicago reporter who asked Walter Payton if he was scared when a press conference announced that Payton was seriously ill ( and would pass away eight months later).

Why do they even let people ask questions at those things? Sports reporter questions basically fall into a few camps:

1) Walter, what was going through your mind when you got the diagnosis?
2) Walter, can you please describe your thought process? Are you scurred?
3) Walter, I think you said that the disease is inoperable and that there is a 98% chance you'll be dead in 6 months and a 100% chance of death inside of a year. Could you elaborate a bit on your family's plans for after your death?

I've seen sports journalist simply make comments and wait for the coach to recact.

It was tough sledding in the red zone..
Billy was really sizzling out there today...
Johnny, you chew a lot of gum out there..

Laziest 'question' that they all seem to ask now is. "Talk about...." I've heard Dan Patrick rail against those that use that as a crutch in the media. At least have a specific question to ask. Don't act like you have to word it in some fancy way to separate yourself. I get that it's a cutthroat industry, but I can't see that being how you get ahead.

Yes. It's all they are. "Tell us about...." "Can you talk about..." "What was going through your mind..." Such fucking drivel.

There's very few in the industry better than DP. The man is a legend and his technique should be studied by anyone getting into that field.

I was expecting someone to ask Micah this...

"The Patriots only completed two passes against you guys. Did that remind you of practicing against the first team offense back when you were at Iowa?"
