Norris "The Sarge" Coleman was a 24 year old freshman in 1985-86. He enrolled at Kansas St after serving 5 years in the Army.
Led Big 8 in scoring at 21.8 and also pulled done 8 RBs. I remember him scoring at will in the lane or mid-range, and especially taking the ball to the rack. He teamed with Mitch Richmond (6-time NBA all-star) for a season.
Anyway, I bring him up because ever since the recruitment of Hubbard began, I kept thinking of Coleman. Coleman was literally a man amongst boys in college. His maturity showed on the court in a way you don't often see. That maturity would be more apparent in the current era with all the early-to-NBA entries leaving few teams laden with upper classmen.

I'm really excited to see Hubbard play. I suspect his maturity is going to be a great asset.
