Anyone here ever shed tears when players graduate?

I have on many occasions. I didn't last year, but in recent memory, I did when each of Gatens and Cole finished. Prior to those guys, Horner and Brunner after we lost to NWState. Prior to them, Jess Settles. I don't even want to think about prior to that because there were too many to name. I have a bad feeling the water works will get turned on when Marble and Basabe play their last game in the coming weeks. I was just curious if anyone else "gets something in their eye" when they show those last shots of seniors who gave it all their all for the Hawks.

The only time I shed a tear was when one died. I cried like a girl when i heard the Chris Street died. What a tragedy. Proof that iowa bb is cursed.

Always a little misty eyed if I am in attendance. Especially at the last football game each year. It is something that everyone looks forward to so much and I know how much the kids put into it. To have it fly by and come to an end, knowing all the contributions the kids have made, gets to me a little bit.

No! I don't even cry when people I actually know graduate. I don't even see myself crying when my kids graduate seeing as a monkey could graduate with a Bachelors degree these days. Maybe if my kids graduate from medical school a tear may run down my cheek. But for an Iowa basketball player, no! No emotion there at all. Kind of have to question ones emotional stability if you cry when a college athlete moves on with their life. No offense. I save my tears for meaningful things like close Iowa losses, early mornings, and Mondays.

What kind of tears?
