Seems like things are slower than usual around here. Could be all of the negativity has driven a bunch of people off.
Anyone else feel like this place is dead?

I agree. This morning it was really dead. I think it's because Scorpio was temporarily handicapped by oyster chucking and then had to rehydrate. That right there reduced postings to less than 25%.

I will say the negativity has gotten over the top. I think the bye week has felt a bit long and people jut want Saturday to get here. But the negativity probably has something to do with it too.

The issues are pretty clear and the performance to date has dampened enthusiasim. If the hawks win this weekend, which I think they will, everything will be different.

The reason this place is dead is exactly because we ARE ALL sleep walking, lazy and have nothing new to offer. It has nothing to do do with Iowa football, the current team, the current staff or the 2012 season.
None of us are willing to become open to the reality we all share now.
Everyone thinks or feels they got it going on and never even listen. People/posters/dick heads only listen to what they want to hear... and then some troll comes on board and the thread disintegrates to mindless, self indulgent chatter... yadda yadda yadda... blah... blah... blah.
Almost no one knows the facts and almost everyone is so self absorbed they can't open them selves to any one elses thoughts or ideas.
