Wow.
Pastner has a really athletic team there! I realize they are Calipari kids, but coach has them playing at a high level, even if a little sloppy at times. I would welcome this style of bball. Doesn't have to be Pastner, just a similar style would be nice.

Slightly on topic...anybody watching Memphis/St John's in the NIT? It's 71-all with 10 seconds left...both these teams are ridiculously athletic!

And, equally ridiculous shot by Memphis to win at the buzzer!!!

Yeah, probably. But I don't think anybody would want to see a game end on a traveling call. IMO More exciting this way!

Pastner would be a good hire and we could land him. He currently only makes about 900K per year at Memphis. We could double his salary. Who wouldn't listen and strongly consider a move to Iowa if it meant they could double their salary?? Go get him Gary B.

If I am not mistaken, the kids were recruited by Pastner. He has been lauded in the coaching fraternity as a great recruiter.

I read on another board that Pastner has been contacted, not sure if there is any interest. His comments could very well be a smoke screen. Who really knows with all the information out there. I would take Pearl, Barbee or Pastner.

I actually thought the travel looked worse live than on any of the replays. I thought they blew it but then agree with swallowing the whistle.

You know I was looking for anything for Memphis to lose so Pastner would be available to talk. Not surprised the refs. swallowed the whistle. Welcome to the big 10 at the end of a game.
