That guy is fun to watch. Not afraid to field it and does a great job of reading the gunners and cutting off their path by going a different direction.

Oh, and we have got ourselves one hell of a punter. Both those guys really change and affect field position. Been a long time since I kind of enjoy watching the punter. Usually one doesn't want to see the punter but this guy is really skilled getting the ball within the 15 and 10 yard line. Super skilled.

That's all. Carry on.

Charley Jones is a breath of fresh air

He is really fun to watch, cat-quick and smart

When ISM returns, he and Charley will be a handful when/if they are on the field together

It's All Good when Charley gets the ball

He came in as a return specialist and we sure see that. He can provide some play at WR but he really is a specialist and does well in open space. Nice to see Iowa try to get him the ball with the jet sweep. I get the feel he may not be the most polished receiver but they can try to get him the ball 2-3 times a game in addition to his return responsibilities. What a nice find.

Yea, ya might not want to kick a line drive to him. Mich St's punter kept doing that. Might want to get some air under the ball!
I love the kid. Why in the F did it take so long to get him in? Obviously Smith-Marsette being out, but you can design plays around his shiftiness and speed

So what did our O-line do differently on his TD return? There was clearly 40 yards of open space once he made the first cpl of Spartans miss. I could have run that back for a TD! [OK, I could NEVER have run that aback for a TD, I'd have twisted a hip when he reversed direction.] Did they pancake the MSU line, or just hold them up for an ungodly amount of time? Whatever the hell it was, let's try to do that every punt to us!!

O-line?? I didn't say anything about an O-line. The O-line wasn't even on the field. There was never 40 yrds of open space. 40 yrds is a lot and damn near half the field. Actually, if I remember correctly he had to juke a few players and actually broke one tackle close to the goal line going in.

You thinking of a different play???????????o_O

It was an absolutely terrible punt, very low line drive that gave him a lot of space - punters need to have hangtime - this shows exactly why
