Any superstars on the roster?

Do the hawks have anyone anywhere on the roster who might become a game changer or potential All American during the next 4 years? anyone?

except at Left Tackle

Desmond King. I think he's going to end up being the best corner of Ferentz's tenure. Not just to date.

Reggie Spearman. Just a gut feeling. Only had this gut feeling once before....and my gut belched out the name Brad Banks.

Superstars under KF and at Iowa are few and far between. This team will have some really good pros later on.

Game changers in football on defense are usually at Dee End, Linebacker, or Cornerback. King looks really good from the Dee side. The tackles and safeties do a lot of heavy work but usually dont get superstar labels.

I dont see any superstars on offense unless a tight end does a Dallas Clark type improvement, Willies just keeps getting better and better, a QB becomes surgical-like, I dont see any superstar RBs, and we cant talk about scherff.

KF was cranking out pro-level safeties for awhile but that has somewhat dried up.

It would be great to have a total game changing running back like shonn green

This. I have a feeling he will be leaving early for the NFL.

I hope he doesn't, but I don't think he'll be around for four years, either. When you've got NFL-caliber receivers in the SEC telling people how good you are, you're pretty damn good. Honestly, he reminds me some of Dennard up at MSU. Likes to play physical and does a good job of maintaining position downfield.

King and Spearman are the best answers on defense. On offense, the best answer is LeShun Daniels. He has a high, high ceiling.

I think King is well on his way. I'd say he could very possibly be an all BIG 1st teamer and a 1st round draft pick in two years. On offense I don't know not counting the obvious left tackle. I'll go out on a limb and say Markel Smith. He looks like a similar style runner to Shonn Greene. I think he'll be as good as the Oline he'll have lets him be.

Just curious because I didn't hear but what were the LSU players saying about desmond?

I received a PM asking what I saw in LeShun that makes me excited about his potential. Here are the main things that make me think he could be a big-time Big Ten running back:

1. Really quick feet. His feet are fast and decisive.
2. Size and strength. His body was a solid 220 lbs a year ago. I'm very intrigued to see how strong he can be after a year or two with the Iowa S&C staff.
3. He is a load to take down. In the tape I've seen of him, I can't remember him ever being tackled by one player. This will enable him to get a lot of extra yards.

I've attached video below of Daniels in preseason last year and as a HS senior in 2012.
