that Ken O'Keefe would be interested in the now vacant Northern Illinois University Head Coaching position?

it would give him a chance to prove he could be a head coach...

and it would also make 90% of Hawkeye fans happy
 


Nah, he wants the talent at Indiana to run his spread offense with, KOK did run a very potent spread offense before coming to iowa.
 


If and It's a big IF KOK wanted a Head coaching job it would have to be of the mid major level. Can't see him grabbing a head bcs conference job.

thats my thoughts as well.. this could be a 2 year stepping stone for him to get that major conference position...
 


Don't forget if it wasn't for KOK this may have been Stanzi s 1st year starting. KOK pushed for the QB spot to be reopened. I think He leaves this year or in 2 after JV is graduating.
 


You people do realize that even if KOK leaves, the offense will remain EXACTLY the same. It's Kirk's style. Mike Leech could be our offensive coordinator and the offense would look like it has the past 11 years.
