Anthony Salter leaves Hawaii

If he can't find playing time at a horrible Hawaii squad, it would be a waste to have him here.

I know the article is old, but I was just looking at past recruiting classes, and remembered Salter. I thought I'd look up how he's been doing at Hawaii. I looked at the box scores, and he was barely playing. I then went to the roster out of curiosity, and he wasn't listed. I then did a google search and found this article. Says that he and another player were leaving at semesters end to find more playing time. Can't help but think he would have had some solid PT here. Not saying we really needed him, but it would have been nice to have another true PG to spell Cartwright.

Really weird considering he was prev committed to Auburn, so it's not like he had awful offers before or after the decommit either.

He either really believes he has an NBA future or really hates the local cuisine. Those are the only reasons I can ever think of why anybody would ever consider leaving Honolulu.
