Answer: Alabama, Georgia, Florida St., Louisville, & Iowa

You don't get to tell your boss, hey I'm going to go do this and expect that if it doesn't work out your job will still be open.

Another good point. Do you expect your school to put a "hold" on your position until the draft is over? That would be terrible for recruiting to know that a starter may or may not be gone.

Once and awhile I make sense.
I'm just a simple guy. I try to keep it that way.
Einstein said, if you can't explain it to a barmaid then you don't understand it well enough. So simple is good enough for me.

Iowa gained, what, 64 yards vs Wisconsin...can a team with two first round picks (hypothetically) and other high draft picks allow such a game, with that much "high level" talent?

Reality check for Iowa...101, once again it seems.

Dumb comment seeing as how they are of 20+ starters. It doesn't matter how good they are individually if the team around them and schemes aren't helping.

What might this look like? For instance, could someone just declare after Pick #20 that he is going back to college? That would throw a wrench into the whole process if a team was ready to pick him next.

Maybe he would have to declare a "pick number" prior to the start of the draft so the league knew he would bow out at a certain point if not picked. Maybe even let the teams know it. Kind of like a "reserve price" at a car auction. Could add an interesting wrinkle to the draft.

And can you imagine what that would feel like to the player. Not sure I could sit in that room and walk away knowing that I could be the next pick.

I'm really thinking more along the lines of a player, similar to b-ball, getting to return if he doesn't hire an agent and is projected lower than round "X".

It's fun to read the reasons on Cyfan Lazard hasn't been drafted yet.
ISU bias.
No one needs WR's this year.
Too many WR's this year.
Too many good WR's at ISU to compete for catches with.
He doesn't put up the numbers of others because he doesn't play in an offense like Texas Tech WR's.
David Montgomery is too good to throw enough to get Lazard noticed.
It's becoming a defensive league.

BTW, they also think Lanning should have been drafted as well.
