Another awesome breakdown by HGF

Pin and pull outside zone was referenced by hgf. I do know what I am talking about (makes me feel good to have that).

Everything about it was great, except for the last line of his Wadley assessment. "Wadley looks like a....." and the sentence was never finished. I was hanging on every word of his thoughts on Wadley, so that was a rather abrupt halt that left me feeling like "WHAT?! HE LOOKS LIKE A WHAT?! I MUST KNOW!!!"

Wow, 58% of Rudock's pass attempts were 10+ yards (medium or long). That's really high for him compared to the rest of the year. His previous high was 35% against Indiana. In all the other games, not counting Indiana and NW, he was around 21% medium or long passes. I think that's pretty strong evidence there was an intentional change for the better this game. Whatever the case, I hope we keep it up.

#1 I hope KF continues to use Wadley and not stick him on a shelf somewhere ala LeShun Daniels.
#2 Which team shows up for the goopher game? Hawks vs jNW or Hawks vs isu?

Hah, my bad, I didn't paste in the whole sentence, fixed it! No great revelations unfortunately:
" Wadley looks like a a guy with a bright future and should be fun to watch over the final four games of the regular season."

Little more analysis:
Only former Iowa back that he resembles at first glance: Damian Sims maybe? Wadley and Parker have a lot in common but Parker looks more straight line fast and Wadley appears to be more sudden. On Wadley's longest run of the day(26 yarder) it was a play where he stumbled through the hole and still had enough momentum to get to the outside and pick up a few extra yards. If he had hit that hole cleanly and burst to the outside, I'm fairly sure he would have been gone. Iowa has needed lightning to Weisman's thunder all year. Canzeri has been dinged up all year and Parker appears to be the jet sweep and KR guy. Wadley looks like he could be the guy, MN's run defense looks to be better unit than NW and it should be a good litmus test for the Iowa run game going forward.
