Who is and who have been the hawk wide receiver coaches in the KF era. Jesse Palmer really pinpointed a problem Iowa has had for most of KF years and that is a broken play where receivers sort of stop and go stationary.
All the analysts I hear say come back to the QB and the ball or break deep against man to man or against zone work to that open area.
A couple replays yesterday showed just how poorly the receivers worked sometimes when CJ was flushed or they were covered.
I would think it would be the same as in basketball when if the ball handler is in trouble you can move toward the ball to help out or break away from the ball to give them an open pass.
I have been nitpicking some skill aspects of the hawks after yesterday's game but some of these seem like coaching improvements also.
Like trying to tackle McCaffrey up high where he wears that jersey skin tight rather than lower. The hawks defense was definitely up against it with McCaffrey's speed and moves. First time I really saw him play or even in replays and he is amazing.
