We played 13 games, and we held 5 different teams to their season lows in points scored.
We gave up 16 third quarter points... in the season...
Over the last two years we have allowed the fewest TD's from scrimage in all of D1 football at 34. How good is that? Wisconsin who was in the middle of the B10 in that category (5th of 11 teams) allowed 66, nearly double.
Read that last part again. We have allowed the fewest TD's in all of college football over the last 2 years. The primary job of a defense is to not allow the other team to score a touch down... We have had the best defense over the last 2 years in college football.
