Where do you think they will end up? I think Iowa is playing at a perfectly fine pace currently. They don't have enough ball handlers/athletes to run and gun like the old UNLV runnin rebels.

Did you watch the Kentucky vs. Washington game last night? Wow that game was insane in the way both teams were pushing the ball. It was really sloppy at times as both teams were playing too fast.

I think Iowa will end up in the 68 range for adjusted tempo.
So prob 160th or so in the nation.

I dont see us being able to compete in a high tempo Offense at least for a couple of years. Dont think we have the athletes to and dont think that the two coming in will be able to run either.

Fran has mentioned this several times that they will push at every opportunity but they will not force transition with too many turnovers or low % shots. I think their scoring will increase as the players get more comfortable in Fran's different defenses. Mr. Davis's teams scored a ton of points from their defense.

I hope fans dont judge this team solely on their wins and losses but judge them on their effort, chemistry and improvement! we have the right staff and style so lets get to some games and support them!!!!

I do think the two that are coming into the Iowa program fit really well into what Fran is trying to do. Each player is versatile and has good ball handling skills. The thing Iowa needs for the system to work is time. There is talent there. Iowa can not have enough good guards and with two scholarships open is Devin Coleman still in the mix? Eric Katenda is still in the mix the longer he waits the better. To have a 2011 class like that to go with what is there would be huge. Iowa needs to play under control and make the easy baskets then the scoring average will continue to improve.

Well, Spark, as someone who watched all the games the last three years and all the games so far this year, this team is really uptempo. Don't really care what the statistics say. Might not be that high scoring but they move a hell of a lot faster.
