It's almost dinner time on Monday so we gotta flush that game. Who will be in Evanston this Saturday to watch the Hawks get themselves right back into the B1G title hunt? Northwestern's defense is just what JVB and Davis need to right the ship.

Imma be in the house in Heavenston on Saturday. Prez, will you be in the house? I think all of the negativity is hurting the team, particularly the QB. I think some love on the road will really help them out. I will be starting the "J-V-B" chant, and I would appreciate if you chip in.

This makes me want to go more than ever. If I take the train over can someone pick me up at the station and save me cab fair?
 


I don't know how we'll beat jNW with this offense.. but if we do, there may be a collective sigh around these parts.

Still can't bring myself to grab tickets to the game, though..
 






You would have thought that Central Michigan would have provided the cure to our offensive woes. I don't see them beating NW this weekend, because we surely can't outscore them.
 


We will be there cheering hard for the Black and Gold! After the beat down on Saturday night anything will be an improvement.
 






It is what it is. I'm done being mad and am just going to support the Hawks. Time heals all wounds.

Iowa plays better with their backs against the wall anyway. They'll probably walk into E-Town and whip the holy hell out of the Wildcats.

You meant the Hawks would score 52 the rest of the season, right?

After the Wisky game in 2010, I vowed I was done getting angry about the results of the games anymore. I figured if all the Cap'n does is chew gum and claim "that's football", then that's what I'll do. So far, it seems to be working!
 


If NW plays like they did Saturday against Nebraska, I think Iowa will win. However, my confidence is not that strong to think NW will play that bad back to back. I would feel much better if this game were in IC.
 


OK4P, I'm a little concerned about security if I travel to Evansville. They were a little suspect in Kinnick and some rum found it's way into my pop on more then one occassion during the first half on Saturday. My body can't take another security lapse like that again this week.
