For those of you who have enjoyed the Allstate commercials with the character Bergwood the past 4 years, you may be disappointed to find out that Bergwood will not be back this fall.

Why bring it up here?

The actor is an Iowa City native and big time Iowa fan.

+1. Bergwood lost his funny the minute he started lounging (or streaking) around tailgating. Now, if Allstate had stuck with commercials like holding their breath while driving by Bobby Bowden's statue...that was classic!!
