That is a problem.

We have become the same as Illinois and Ron Zook. The same as Michigan was under DickRod.

Through out this season (I go to every game) the convo was always the same from opposing fans, "Man we hope KF stays at Iowa forever!"

Got pretty damn sick of it from just the Nebby fans today.

Those other fans see the potential of the Hawkeye program, and know it is pretty much stuck in reverse right now, which they love.
 




Did you ask Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois, and Indiana?

I'm pretty sure Ferentz is .500 or better against all of these schools since 2002.

.500 or better. I'm sure Penn State and Michigan expect to be .800 vs Iowa and they're not.

Wisconsin and MSU probably expect to be atleast .500 against Iowa... and they're not.

So you're dumb. You said all the other Big 10 schools are hoping Ferentz never leaves... when the fact of the matter is many of them aren't even meeting expectations against Ferentz. You make no sense.

What have those records been over the past several years? The reason other fans want KF to stay is because they thought he might actually adapt and change with the landscape of football, like most college coaches...instead he's going to continue to run the same offense we ran back in 2000. Every team knows how to play the Hawks now...hell, look at Minny, NW, and Indiana...three of the worst teams in the BIG have made huge strides in being competitive with Iowa over the past several years. Wisky is blowing those teams away...as is MSU...BUT, they somehow have been playing much tougher with us the last couple of years. Could it be they know exactly what we're going to do? DUH!

Record over the past several years? Let's take a look at the last 3 years:

Iowa is 3-0 against Michigan
Iowa is 3-0 against Indiana
Iowa is 2-1 against Penn State
Iowa is 2-1 against Michigan State
Iowa is 1-1 against Wisconsin
Iowa is 0-0 against Illinois
Iowa is 1-2 against Northwestern
Iowa is 1-2 against Minnesota

Iowa's overall record against these teams last three years is 13-7. Again... you're dumb.

I'm not the voice of reason, I'm a reasonable voice. I have seen worse message board meltdowns than this. I just hope there is room on the bandwagon in the future.

I think you forgot 0-2 against Ohio State.

So against teams we should destroy (Indiana, NW, and Minnesota) we are 5-4 (which includes needing Indiana to drop a TD to win in 2010).

Against teams we should be competitive with (Wisconsin & MSU) we are 3-2.

Against teams we should win against occassionally (if we consider ourself a top tier program in the BIG) we are 5-3 (OSU, Michigan, PSU)...which looks good but if you consider how average Michigan has been the past few years it's not overly impressive.

Oh yeah....and you are a doodie head...what are you 5?
