If we aren't going to end up alone in 6th I don't want to be the 6th seed. I want 7th and play OSU in the 2nd round rather than any school from Michigan. I want to be able to say Iowa was the only 9-9 team. If I can't say that then I want to get the best match up in the 2nd round of the BTT...Ohio State IMO.

Illinois beating Ohio State gives us Wisconsin, and I believe possibly Ohio State in the semis. If you'd rather have 6th place alone than a Northwestern-Wisconsin-Ohio State draw, you're on crack.

The RPI does not really mean anything to Iowa at this point. There is nothing that will give them big help except 4 wins. Then who cares.

I don't see it. Iowa has already won against Wisky. A second round game against Wisky might mean the Hawks need a third win in the tourney. A win against one of the other B1G teams gets Iowa in. So, basically, I think they are goin to have to play that game you all want to dodge anyway.

This - Iowa needs as many "impressive" wins as it can get. PSU getting bumped up a few RPI spots will do nothing for Iowa's chances.
