With looser admission requirements, less competition for in-state talent and a natural recruiting pipeline to the West Coast, Steve and Noodles probably are where they should be.

Unfortunately, we are not.

And as much as I love Iowa and Iowa City, I would take the scenery, culture and food of the Southwest in a heartbeat, so I am envious. And while it does snow on occasion in Albuquerque, it usually melts within a day or two. Very unlikely Stevie needs a snowthrower from anyone. Or a mower, for that matter.

I kept thinking how much Iowa would have been with a solid,stable pg like Gary the last three years. That last recruiting class of SA was good, Kelly,Gary and Cole are all guys that will end up starting most of their 4 years in college.
Hobson would have been a nice player also...imagine him,gary and Tyler smith in the Iowa lineup along with Gatens and Hamga....solid lineup.

What did he say that you couldn't observe on tv? Who the hell cares if it is 2,000 miles away or 10,000, you can still make observations watching the tv. I'm pretty sure KF made some observations of GT before the Orange Bowl on a tv that was playing a tape of a game that occured 2,000 miles away.

I'm not an Alford supporter but trust me Noodles isn't doing all the coaching. Give me a break. Seriously anyone who thinks this is just no very smart.

He was successful as a coach before noodles. Hence Iowa wanting him so badly when he was at SWMS..
