Alabama predictions

Not sure why Bama is better than Xavier. Xavier had a better team last year and made the tourny...that tends to carry over. Bama is ok, and will beat Iowa,but that is not saying they are very good.

Xavier lost their best player ever in Crawford and their post Love. They also lost one of their best recruits (didn't qualify) and another starter to injury. They are picked middle of the pack in the A-10 and won't sniff the tourney this year in my opinion.

Alabama returns the core of their team that went 17-15. They added some nice Jucos and are picked by some to win the SEC West this year.

You guys who never watched the game yesterday need to know that Archie scored the majority of those points in garbage time after the two bigs from Xavier fouled out of the game. Don't be expecting Archie to turn out 10 pts in another game.

hey, we can hope, can't we? and who says there won't be garbage time in this one? i hope not, but there could be.

Agree...also I'm shocked people keep picking Iowa to beat decent high major teams. I've seen nothing from this team that leads me to believe they are capable of beating high major teams. We are in the rebuilding mode...take off the black and gold glasses and keep expectations reasonable.
 
I don't think Alabama looked very good in yesterday's game. I don't think they're anything special at all.

Of course they did look better then we did.
