Akrum Wadley talked Tuesday about the recent addition to the offensive backfield in Nevada graduate transfer James Butler. He welcomed it:

I like his attitude. Iowa had 777 plays from scrimmage last year and hopefully even more this year. Plenty of touches to go around for whichever RBs, WRs and TEs are productive.

Awesome attitude. I truly think it will benefit Wadley in the long haul. Hopefully, we see more explosive plays from fresh legs running behind our O-line. I'm also hoping BF will open the offense up with having some options.

He'd have to be an idiot to say anything different. If he or anyone in his shoes were to whine about something like that it'd sure paint them in a negative light. Ya can only hope it's genuine. I bet it is for him because it shouldn't really affect him on the field much. Now some one might want to ask Toks and Young the same type of questions....

That is the real question.

I'd like to know how Akinribade, Young, etc feel. They are the ones who will lose playing time. Butler will only help Wadley.
