AJ Epenesa just has that "it" factor about him. He is Bob Sanders, Pat Angerer, Mitch King he is just one of those dudes that will be a leader of this team for the next 3 years.

AJ is going to be our version of JJ Watt... And he will be pretty much day 1 it looks like. That toothpaste cant go back in the tube as far as his hype goes and I bet his impact will match it. He going at it against Wirfs and Jackson in practices for the foreseeable future is only going to make all of them so much better. The games will be a piece of cake for em compared to practices.

Looks like it depends on the year. But for underclassmen:
2016 - no freshman or sophomores
2015 - Jewell as soph
2014 - Beathard, Ward as soph, Jewell, Welsh as RS Fr,
2013 - Rudock, Blythe, Lomax, Ott as soph, Beathard, Ward as RS Fr
2012- Scherff as soph, Rudock, Alston, Blythe as RS Fr

That's as far back as I can find, so they are the first true freshman in awhile at least.
