I honestly have to ask...why do you consider it a virtue to support a bad team? Why would you fault the fans of Minnesota for refusing to support a bad product? I am a Rays fan, so I understand the problem of fans not supporting a good team (although the problem here isn't apathy), but supporting a bad team doesn't prove how good of a fan you are, it shows how big of a sucker you are.
 
So, what about Albert eh? After Lou Brock and Bruce Sutter, the biggest Cub killer of all time!

Im a Cubs fan and before the injury I wanted the Cubs to make a push for Prince Fielder instead of Albert. Now this is a no doubter.

Derrek Lee broke his wrist and never regained all the power he once had and it took him well over a full season to get some of his power back. While Pujols' and Lee's injuries may not be exactly the same, I would worry about any injury to the wrist/arm of a slugger.

Troy Tulowitzki broke his wrist and fully regained all the power he once had and it only took him half a season to get some of his power back. While Tulo's and Pujol's injuries may not be exactly the same, I wouldn't worry about an injury to the wrist/arm of a slugger.
