After 4 - What's the season Record?

The schedule this season with a number of key returning starters -- 9 is the minimum.

What's the point of 7 or 8. That probably means 3 home losses = home field advantage of Kinnick is *meh*

Dude you got a problem....no I don't bet because they are 18 yo kids and TO's can change any game.
 


I think 8 wins in the best possible scenario with this team. Too many missing pieces, particularly at wide receiver, where Iowa has failed to develop anyone to replace Tevaun Smith. Too bad, because this could have been a very good team

And, my freakin nephew (Scottsbluff, NE) texted me for 4 hours after we lost to NDSU....I hate them worse than anything....I'm w/ya SS....
 


The things I find most hysterical about the contract extension. 1) Barta offers KF another long term extension the season after we go 12-0 in regular season play, despite the fact his contract wasn't up and 2) that this extension was finalized just a few days before the NDSU loss. You can't make that stuff up and that is why the media. Couldn't have possibly come at worse time, with the exception of maybe hours before the Rose Bowl loss.

As I've said in numerous posts this is entirely on Barta and I do not blame KF at all for his contract.

All these debates boil down to a simple formula.

Borat is to blame for the contract = true.

KF wants to be compensated like an elite coach = true

Neither KF nor Borat have EVER publicly acknowledged that the reason you compensate with elite packages is to attain elite results. Therein lies the crux of all the debates among the fans and the media. "Should a coach who demands elite compensation be required to deliver elite results?"

At LSU, the answer is yes.

At Iowa, this answer is no.

Channeling my inner Borat, I will now reward myself accordingly vvvvvv

No problems here. It is not me making stupid assertions. I just thought you would be interested in making some money since you were certain that Iowa would lose those games. I stand by my belief that there is not a team left on Iowa's schedule that they can't beat. They are also more than capable of losing to anyone left on their schedule.

I live in Omaha. 2 solid wins and they instantly act like they are on top again. I don't ever talk smack to them and didn't say a word last year...I am getting shit from them constantly now. Beat. Their. Ass. HAWKS!

I don't live amongst them but they are unbearable every where. I'm getting tired of being told how they are going to give us a beating when they come to Kinnick. To me they are turning into our biggest rivals, I just want them beat.
