Adonis Jennings down to 3

Let's hope Bielema and his former OC (now the Pitt HC) have enough bad things to say about each other and cancel each other out. I really like the looks of this kid from videos I've seen about him. Not exceptionally fast, but can flat out catch the ball. Very good hands and works in traffic well. Separates from the defender with quickness in his cuts off his plant foot. Big kid that uses his body well to position himself for the catch.
 
Good news! Come to the best program of the 3 with the best fans which is clearly Iowa!
 
don't know if 24/7 is not updated, but they have Iowa and PIT as "warmer" and Arky as "warm." If that is accurate and if that means it really is down to Iowa and PIT, then lets hope that Wiegers has an influence. Both these cats are capable of playing very, very early with any honest evaluation.
 
I think it boils down to whether or not he wants to stay close to home. If that's not a major consideration for him, I like our chances. Of the three, I think we're the best program.

I can see us losing out if he wants to stay close to home, or if he really wants to play in the SEC, although getting pounded at Arkansas by the rest of the SEC doesn't sound too appealing.
 
For those not already watching the game, Jennings will be announcing in the third quarter, which is about to start.
 
Damn….So that just leaves Jay Scheel as the lone WR commit? Hopefully guys like Derrick Mitchell Jr. and Derrick Willies are able to step in and be an upgrade. This team needs a home run WR badly.

They took 4 a lot of WRs last year. It wasn't a big priority this year. But I've read Embry might be looked at as a WR also.
 
We have 5 guys that will be RS Fr or Soph next year. If the guys we have on the team cannot catch the ball AND learn to run a proper route, then we are doomed. Our receiving corp, excluding TE, has been around the bottom of the B1G for two straight years. Horrendously bad. Get us some halfway decent WRs and we will have an All-B1G QB in 2014.
That said, we need a stud at WR. It has been way too long of a wait. Jennings would be a huge get.
