Adam Zagoria article/video of Adam Woodbury

Nice. Not sure what to make of it. If you grow up in state, I think your first inclination is to mention the two big Iowa schools if they're on you. Hope, though, this is a good sign. God, Fran could use this kid.

Yeah it is one those things that you can't read too much into it, but I suppose it is better than being an afterthought..."Oh yeah, Iowa too".

He has made several references to Iowa being on him the longest and considering he is from Iowa and known to be from a Hawkeye family it is not surprising they are the first team out of his mouth when asked.

Still just in wait and see mode.

He is a good good kid, but I can tell you with a lot of certainty that if Kansas or UNC come calling her will not be a Hawk.

I don't know, I asked Cougs a couple of months back about who was talking to him and the first school he mentioned was W-Green Bay, and that is where he wound up. Sure it is easy to read too much into it, but there is probably a reason why that is the first school he mentioned.

Kansas, North Carolina, or Iowa? Premier program, Premier program, or eighth place team in the Big 10 for the better part of 12 years. If he goes with hawks he gets a purple heart. I'll take back anything bad I ever said about Santa Claus. Oh for an early Christmas present.

Not going to start an internet fight other than to say again if one of those two big boys offers he will not be a Hawk

Well if your right I will wish him nothing but the best except on any given day he might play against us. Then he can have an off night. Hopefully that point will be mute and he decides to be a part of the rebuilding process at Iowa. I like what I see with our coaching staff and I believe we are on the right track.

If Woodbury waits until the Fall to commit, it will either be for one of two reasons:
1. He isn't completely sold on Iowa due to the recent misery of the program and is waiting for a Kansas/UNC offer, or
2. He is going to enjoy the process and be absolutely sure where he wants to be and I still think that is at Iowa.

It does scare me the longer he waits to decide and when people say he is "Iowa's to lose"

One thing about Woodbury, I think he will be a player that will be ready to contribute right away, unlike a lot of big men. This is the reason that I think his stock is going through the roof right now.

He is a good good kid, but I can tell you with a lot of certainty that if Kansas or UNC come calling her will not be a Hawk.

How can you have a lot of certainty? Certain is an all or none word. You are either certain or you just think it might happen. Also, absolutely certain makes no sense either.

Well after reading that article I am just ousing with confidence that Adam is a lock to go with the hawks.........yah right.

There's nothing discouraging in there, either. He said KU has a lot of prestige, and has had a lot of great players. Well, it's true, and only an idiot would suggest otherwise. So, I'm glad to know he's also not an idiot, in addition to being a very good basketball player.

Adam might not start for Kansas and would probably spend some time on the bench. The projected starter for Kansas at center is junior Jeff Withey and they are after Kaleb Tarczewski and Mitch McGary who are 5 star recruits and rated four and five at their position. He would start immediately for the Hawks, and would become a folk hero in the state of Iowa.
