It's going to be tough to keep McCabe and White out of the starting lineup. Marble will be a starter, too, so there is three. One more guard (Gesell?) and one more big...Mel vs Woodbury.

Mel's offseason will go a long way to answering that question...if he buckles down and learns from this past year and whatever has kept him from giving consistent effort, then he'll start. Woodbury will have a chance at 15-20 minutes a game if he is up for it.

Big man minutes are going to be tough to come by next year. Mel, White, McCabe, Olaseni, Woodbury, Meyer..good problems to have

My wife and I got to meet both Gesell and Woodbury. They are both incredible young men who have not let all the attention go to their heads. You can tell they come from great families and I cannot wait for them to be Hawks next year.

I am beginning to think that Marble is better w/ the ball in his hands vs. playing wing/forward...so, I will go this way:

PG: Marble
SG: Oglesby (he will improve his def./get stronger/shoot better--need a shooter in this lineup)
SF: White
PF: McCabe
C: Woodbury (you don't win a recruiting battle over the Tarheels and have that kid sit on the bench)

Bench:

PG: Gessell/Clemmons (I would not count Clemmons out)
SG: May/Clemmons/Ingram (another athlete)
SF: May/Ingram
PF: Mel/Meyer
C: Mel/Olaseni

We are probably 9-10 deep. It will be interesting to see what happens to Mel. Not too optimistic, given his attitude. I think his Freshman yr is going to be his high pt.
