ACC and Big East in the CBI

The NIT *is* a joke, but the CBI is a million times more pathetic.

No, it isn't. They are pretty much equivalent. You could argue that the CBI has some better teams (e.g. Creighton last year), as the loser of EVERY conference tournament gets an automatic bid to the NIT. There are some not-so-good teams that make it to their conference tournament...


If the players want to play, and they DO, why not let them...? Why F not?

Not really. Do the numbers... only a few percentage points between the 2 and both in the mid 30 percent tile of letting in teams for post season play.

Huge difference, of course, between the pros in MLB and the amateurs in NCAA BB.

BTW DT, tell us please ... do you want Matt Gatens be allowed to play again in an Iowa uniform... let alone watch him play again?
