UCLA has tried to get a stadium on campus at least twice, but the rich dudes in Bel Air (just to the north of campus) squashed it. The campus is also not spread out and is in an urban area (although it is an amazing campus, IMHO).
Hi. Good question. UCLA is located in Westwood. Bel Air is immediately to the north of the campus (borders it) and Brentwood is on the west side of campus. Both are immediately adjacent to the UCLA campus on the west side of LA.Isn’t UCLA located in Brentwood and USC in Inglewood? Both schools are amazing and both have beautiful campuses, but isn’t Brentwood and Inglewood slightly different?
UCLA has "next level" cheerleaders, to be sure.My favorite thing I like about UCLA
Interceptions explain a lot of it. That, and Brosmer had a decent day throwing the ball.UCLA held Min, Rutgers and Nebraska each under 140 yards rushing . Somehow minny won with just 41 yards rushing

He strikes me as a solid coach. Understands the game and has the right temperament.I have no idea if DeShaun Foster is the long term answer for UCLA or not. I do know he has them playing well now. I will take a win by 1 or by 20, get the W and move on.
Cool thanks for the geography lesson. I've never been west of Vegas before. Hopefully someday I can get all the way out there. Have always wanted to take hwy 1 up the coast before I get too oldHi. USC is is SW of downtown (DTLA) in an area called University Park, and is close to historic South Central area.
Inglewood is a little further to the sosuthwest of that.
Looks like penalties and TOs were UCLAs downfall in that one. They clean those up even just a little bit they make themselves a much tougher team to play. They aren't as bad as they seem.UCLA held Min, Rutgers and Nebraska each under 140 yards rushing . Somehow minny won with just 41 yards rushing

Absolutely. Feel free to message me if you'd like additional thoughts about the area. It's a big area, and California offers a lot to see. The mountains (Santa Monica, San Gabriel) close to town are really cool. Of course the ocean is here too.Cool thanks for the geography lesson. I've never been west of Vegas before. Do it! I've been up the Pacific Coast Highway multiple times on a motorcycle and it's breathtaking.Cool thanks for the geography lesson. I've never been west of Vegas before. Hopefully someday I can get all the way out there. Have always wanted to take hwy 1 up the coast before I get too old
Agree, the PCH is just fantastic. I like to ride my road and mountain bikes above the PCH near malibu on the canyon roads and the trails pretty frequently. Some fabulous views, with some looking down a couple of thousand feet to the ocean.Do it! I've been up the Pacific Coast Highway multiple times on a motorcycle and it's breathtaking.
In fairness to UCLA, in 2024 there isn't a school in the nation located in a sizeable city that would get a stadium added to it's campus if it didn't already have one there. Too much has grown up around every campus to make that feasible.UCLA has tried to get a stadium on campus at least twice, but the rich dudes in Bel Air (just to the north of campus) squashed it. I think a lot of tourists go to downtown (DTLA) and Hollywood and surmise that LA is bad. I actually wouldn't recommend staying in either area. Maybe go to Hollywood for a broadway show or something, but there are lots of really cool places near LA that are really great spots to visit.
My tentative plan is to retire early and get a snazzy camper so my dog and I can just get away for 10-15 days or so at a time. There's lots of the country mostly out west I haven't seen and absolutely look forward to doing.Do it! I've been up the Pacific Coast Highway multiple times on a motorcycle and it's breathtaking.
Still no idea how he didn't have his knee touch. And even more surprised that the refs didn't blow it dead screwing us over. I think they accidently got it right. Hell of a play by SullyUCLA doesn’t have Sullivan!
