Will they get to travel,get free room and board on the road? or just be like the gray team and practice /home games only(not sure if thats how it worked or not..???
You don't have to be on scholarship to travel. And they definitely don't have to pay to travel. They are a part of the team so they get all the same stuff on road trips as the scholarship players.
It's up to the staff I believe as last year Neari was given "Preferred" walk-on status which essentially meant he got to travel but in the past there have been some that did not
Maybe it's different than the football program, and maybe things have changed since 15 years ago, but walk ons didn't "get" all the same stuff as scholarship players. Not allowed to go to training table, some big things like that. Not sure how b-ball is run.
Thats where my question was coming from,i know walk-on/red-shirts sometimes don't travel w,but wasn't sure about the perks that BB walk-ons will get(I say give them everything.
