About the Badgers 2024

Hawks win if…..they hold them under 20.

I feel confident that Lester can figure something out if they get stuffed early

Didn't see the 1st half of the Wisky-Penn St. game, but in the 2nd half the Nits showed exactly how to move the ball against the Badger D. Hope Lester takes a lesson...

How?

BTW I don't expect Kirk to show his hand about who's playing QB. No reason to make it easy for Wisconsin to prepare.

Why? The only difference is you have to account for Sullivans legs, not so much with Cade. It’s not like Cade was dropping dimes down field and Sullivan can’t… teams were able to load the box for a reason.

Sullivan showed he is an inconsistent passer, but has well-above average mobility. CM demonstrated that he is an inconsistent passer with almost no mobility. So, the offense will certainly be more dangerous. Sullivan needs to protect ball above all else, make a few plays here and there, and wait for Johnson to pop a couple big ones. This game should be ours to lose.

That accidental wildcat play where Jones snapped the ball to Johnson by mistake was f*cking awesome. We need some wild cat. It was an accident but it worked.

yep, there were at least 3 first down pickups because of his mobility. And an avoided sack. Those things matter.

I have no idea what it's like as a player.
As a fan, there is nothing more deflating than getting the opposing offense into a 3rd and long...
And then covering up their receivers long enough to get a shot at the QB...only to watch him tuck and run for a 1st.

I guess letting them convert on 3rd and 18 is bad too. But, you know what i mean.

Locke is a turnover machine and I got sucked into that with Chiles(MSU). Play a clean game, at Kinnick, and they should win. Sullivan needs to make the easy throws and be a dual threat...if he handles his business, they win.

Sidenote: I don't know the health status of Sullivan. One hit to his ribs and he might be done. Lainez is #2 and we don't know what that looks like, down 13-10, with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

I think Wisconsin has been our biggest actual rival for the last quarter century. Nebraska? No. ISU? No. Minny? Also, no.

I hate losing to Wisconsin more than any other team in the Big 10. For one, I mostly like their fans and I like them as a college and football program. Although I think Jump Around is laaaaaame...like when they play Country Roads at St. Louis Blues hockey games. It just doesn't make sense to me. Wisconsin is not a House of Pain school or state.

Also, we lose to them at a rate that's about second only to OSU. They're the most comparable school and program to Iowa. And they're literally only slightly better than us over that quarter century because they have no ISU equivalency in the state of Wisconsin. So, when they beat us, that's the only reason why...in my mind. When we beat them, it's the perfect example as to why Iowa is better.

I gotta pretty good idea: hand off to Kaleb left tackle. Next play a pitch to Kaleb left tackle. Next play a straight drop-back into the pocket, Lainez can't find anyone, tucks the ball and runs for his life.

In every B1G game except Washington the hawks were stuffed in the first quarter or first half...doing absolutely nothing on offense.

I have to remember to not get discouraged watching this game.

Then again, Iowa has stuffed opponents at home in the first quarter. I'm not sure anyone has a touchdown against Iowa in the first quarter in Kinnick all season. Course, now that I've said that.
