Our pass defense sucked Saturday? Thorson was 15/30 for 122 Yards wth two interceptions. Our pass defense was great Saturday, which game were you watching?

Our rush defense left a little to be desired but again my point is that they were worn down being on the field the entire game.

That winning touchdown for jNW was horrid pass technique by Iowa's pass defender. They don't teach pass defense technique at Iowa. They teach how to cover ground.

11 is not our best cover corner and that’s why he has been benched the last several weeks for true freshman. That particular play was indefensible as it was a perfect throw and perfect catch.

If you think Iowa struggles with pass defense you should watch some games across the country in the B12 and Pac12.

Iowa did not lose that game because of pass defense. They lost that game due to inept offense and play calling. The way their defense played through the first 40 minutes of that game we should have been up 24-3.
