He's just taking this team on his shoulders and asserting his
will to WIN.

Aaron White is a total Class act and one of ALL TIME GREAT HAWKEYES.

Ogels 3 also was huge, once again.

Great road win for Fran's Iowa Hawkeyes. Wow
 
He is the best player in the Big 10! He has been playing great. The steal and free throw shooting were both amazing!

White made the PLAY OF THE YEAR for us. That saved our tournament lives!!!!!!

Great job by the 2 other seniors Olgesby and Olesani. I have been hard on Olgesby but he was money tonight and down the stretch lately. Proud of these guys and the team.
 
I guess my post about the seniors in the game thread was misplaced. Oops.

Regardless, they all seem to be just willing this team to wins. White especially. But Oglesby has made up for a couple of off games from Uthoff (at least an off 2nd half today), and gabe has definitely pulled his weight.

I am a fan of these seniors and this team.
 
I think White knew that he blew it on that last play where they inbounded with 6 seconds left. It was pretty clear that he didn't know how much time was left on the shot clock, which resulted in a deep 3 by Ogelsby. He decided that he wasn't going to go out that way. Fantastic play.
 
What if Aaron White played for Thad Matta , I'll be puking big time, that's for sure. I am glad Fran has a good eyes for a legend.

He wouldn't be playing for Matta because he didn't bother to even give White a serious look. White would have been playing in obscurity for Duquense had Fran not offered him.
 
It's almost funny how little credit Aaron White gets for being a high riser.

I'd venture to guess that NO ONE at Iowa, has ever DUNKED on as many teams as
Whitey. GO HAWKS
