of course moves the record to 5-1
adds even more momentum
sets up a huge home game with the possibility of going to 6-1
is the next game to a potential huge game at PSU.
takes away a little sting from a few weeks ago and keeps the road win streak going as every Big 10 win is great.

I know the hawk players arent playing this what if game and looking ahead and I dont do it much but this could be a fork in the road kind of game.

Do you have any what ifs on a potential win today?

Indiana would be another notch in the belt...it does however set you up, with another notch against Maryland next week, to go big game hunting in Happy Valley.

The Big Ten West is down this year from last. Big Time!

This years Iowa team I would place anywhere between Michigan State (2017) at best, and if things don't go so well somewhere toward the top of that muddle in the middle.

This year has an 09 and 15 feel to it. Every week but a couple I feel like we are the better team by a decent margin. Just have to not give a game away and we will have one more shot to win a big game to have a memorable season.

Of course the 05 and 10 seasons had this feel too. They didn't work out so well.

Yeah the season's fortunes can turn on a dime or a couple of injuries. I thought in 2010 Tarpinian getting hurt and losing the Right Guard just really hurt the team. Coaches played the lower weight backup center at RG and he tried but was just outmatched and Tarp had come back late in the season and was controlling jNW and then got hurt and we lost control of their QB.

Amazing how just a couple key pieces of the puzzle can make it or break it.

I would be more worried about the MD trap if Iowa won against Wisconsin. I think now they are staying focused and will be pumped to be back at Kinnick. Will go to PSU as a top 20 team
