It just hit me, not sure why its taken so long to realise it. I'm on a conference call with a client. The client has about 30 people spread all over the world on this call. Some are from countries that are at war with each other. Of course thats been the case in american universities. wow.

Very rarely would citizens of a country vote to go to war, if given the choice. Because usually it's the citizens who suffer, not government officials who make that decision.
