At this point I'm not even sure if we'd cut it in the MAC.

Considering half the conference is directional school you'd be right.

Northern Illinois is the best MAC team. Iowa is 11th (out of 12) Big ten teams. So yeah, a MAC team is superior to Iowa. This isn't breaking news.
