Yup yup... Seeing BJ, Roy and Ed play 4 yrs together was awesome for me as a kid. To see 3 great players be the core of a team and be together 2 yrs is going to be completely unheard of now let alone 3 or 4.Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but this has been a major disincentive for me personally. I no longer follow the NBA and MLB for exactly that issue, and my fear is that it will gradually degrade my passion for college sports.
I have an innate need to follow a "team" over time, see them develop chemistry and add new faces every so often. My interest wanes significantly when I tune in at the start of a season and 80% of the team is new. Some seem to like the constant roster shuffle, but, for me, it negatively impacts my interest.
