A loss to Minnesota would be more disappointing than a loss to Iowa State

ISU beating Iowa this season wouldn't be as disappointing as a loss to Minnesota. ISU talent level equal to or possibly better than Iowa in first time since 2000. Better team perhaps this year and CPR has program on solid footing.

A loss to Minnesota AGAIN would be far more disappointing. Iowa is more talented than them, it's a conference (divisional) game, trophy game too, it's at Kinnick and Gophers still long way from rebuilding.

Now winning both would obviously be ideal but saw yesterday that Ferentz has NEVER beat NW, Minnesota and ISU in same season. It's time that changes but if history continues then a loss to Minnesota is more disappointing than to ISU.

How about you guys?

The Minnesota game may not be as easy as it looked before season after all. They look like a completely different team than last season.

I think it's kind of a push. Falling to 6-8 vs. the instate rival would be inexcusable.

Of course, the stat that you quote is inexcusable.
