It just gets tiring. If he/she wants to be "funny", at least be good at it. Trying to be funny in "Football" with Ghost's lack of football knowledge isn't "funny". It's pathetic.
Be that as it may, I DO agree on the JVB "hype". But JVB didn't create the hype, people on message boards did.

My wife grew up down the street from Gunchies. They still own teh house, and it is unoccupied, so I have a west end pad if I need it.

Well, I can only assume that he shot that bear in Iowa City, because he loses his accuracy on teh road.
But seriously, while I will admit that my criticism of JVB is a bit acerbic for comedic effect, the point is still valid. I don't think his body of work supports the legend some fans have built around him, and I'd be happy to discuss the topic with any of you slobbering idiots.
