I have updated the Orange Bowl blog on the home page....Part Two of Patrick Webb's breakdown coming up later tonight...will be at the Hawkeye Huddle and Orange Bowl Radio broadcast later today....
I know its real cold in Iowa...but for some reason it just feels darn cold down here...maybe its because we don't have enough proper clothing...and maybe it's just in our head.
I think that will not hurt the Hawks come gametime...
I am sooooo not a Miami guy. I love that Iowa is in a big game like this, but I am just a small town kid and hope to see the Hawks beat the Yellow Jackets and I am actually looking forward in getting back to the ice box, believe it or not. My wife, who despises the cold winters, is feeling the same..."People are just so nice in Iowa. It's not that way down here." she just told me. I think this is giving her a new perspective!
You just can't beat Iowa fans...they are everywhere. I am not making this up when I say I have not seen one Georgia Tech fan since getting here 24 hours ago.
Then again, I was in my hotel room by 7:45 last night
