A Ferentz Apologist is Concerned

Lets hope the reason Kirk is so furstrated, etc., is he realizes that changes need to be made. Something is missing with this team and the staff not showing a passion.

When guys getting paid to play football break down physically so that they are not effective they get replaced. When coaches get too old to be effective, people look the other way.

rchawkeye, I posted something to that effect on TOS a couple of weeks ago. Pointed out that when HF was having his best years there was turnover on the staff. Young, hungry coaches that wanted to improve their position in the coaching ranks. Under KF we have seen very little turnover. Instead of people wanting to move up the ranks we have a lot of content people. In coaching as well as the business world, it is the hungry workers that push a company, or team, forward.
It's great to love your boss and job, but if the whole staff is content then you aren't going to move forward.
Some change is good. Not calling for wholesale change, but we need some coaches that are agressive and are looking to move up the ranks.
